The Manor has 64 private rooms and 8 semi-private rooms. Glen Arbor and Everwood each accommodate 35 residents with their own dining room as well as lounges. Eden Court is a 10-bed unit for residents requiring additional supervision. Residents are accommodated according to their nursing care needs. It may be necessary for the Home to relocate a resident to another room. The family or sponsor will be notified by the Director of Nursing or her designate of any change in accommodations required and the plan for such discussed.
Furniture
The resident and family are encouraged to personalize the resident’s room with pictures (limited to three) framed on the wall, portable television and their own bedspread. The safety of the resident must be considered, and extra furniture pieces may not be recommended due to the size of the room. The Manor is not responsible for theft or breakage of items, therefore, anything of personal value should be left with the family. The maintenance staff hang your pictures or wall hangings. 
Pictures or wall hangings are restricted to 3 in addition to a clock. A corkboard and shelf are provided with the clothing wardrobe to accommodate pictures, television and small ornaments. Pictures are to be mounted on the wall by Environmental Services.
Electrical Appliances
Electrical appliances such as radios, TV, stereo, etc. must be CSA approved and inspected by the Environmental Services Supervisor before being put into use. Electric blankets, electric heating pads, humidifiers, space heaters, or fans are not permitted.
Telephone
If a resident wishes to have their own phone, please contact administrative staff. The resident is responsible for all charges, including costs to transfer the phone to another location.
Television/ Internet
Cable television and Internet hook-up are available at a minimal charge. Televisions and computers must be checked and installed by our maintenance staff. Please notify office if you wish to discontinue cable service.
